Developing a mobile application for the management of the Wallbox. This is a Bluetooth remote control that controls the Wallbox, the charging device for electric cars from well-known car manufacturers.
The app enables you to start, postpone and monitor the charging of the electric vehicle battery. You can also set parameters to increase or decrease the power used for charging according to your household consumption.
Production of an initial demo version of the Wallbox control app begins. In order to broaden the base of possible users, the team creates a custom Bluetooth library that works on a larger number of devices.
February 2020In June, the team releases the first version of the app as a result of changes aimed at ensuring better adaptation to customer needs. In September, the first version of the same app is also released for technicians, allowing them to modify certain parameters relating to the current output of the wallbox. The app integrates firebase firestore.
June - September 2020In June 2021, the team releases the version of the apps using the sensors, and in December a first version that includes a photo counter reading is relased.
June - November 2021In January 2022, the team is again working on modifying both applications to use AWS Cognito. This includes changes to the graphical user interface such as changing passwords, user login when the session is finished and so forth.
